The nights are getting shorter, i can feel a nip in the air, Holly bushes are weighed down with berries, old folk lore say that means a harsh winter brrrrrrrrr ,another one i hope not !!.

A friend gave me some out off date seeds this year, one of the packets was a plant called "My Love Lies Bleeding"  which was a popular favourite of my mother and her generation, a real golden oldie, its a lovely plant and a lots of my  friends and  family have said they will be growing them next season
Not a lot of time for crafting this week just made 3 birthday cards could nt seem to get very good photos of them

Hi all. Where does all the time go  never enough minutes in the day, i have been making a clock a altered art kind with texture paste Ferro and terro by Viva,also metal paints  by Viva, have got so far as the photo will show you, still have to give more texture to it and numbers and embellistments but then time ran out, so hopefully will get back to it this week .A elderly neighbour of mine was telling me in the Second world War she was an evacuated as a child of 6 years old to Norfolk with her 3 year old sister, what memory's she has of that time, then she informed me she and her sister who now lives in the states wrote a book that was publish and sold many copies in UK and the states.  noting my interest she gave me a sign copy which is brilliant, worth a read .My sister in law was a Dagenham Girl Piper in the 50 s and travel playing with the band for many years, on Saturday i went along with her to  celebrate the 80th birthday  of the band, so nice seeing all the old members the eldest was 89 although many have passed away as the band started in the early 40 s. the modern day pipers, although, not as many as the original mingle  played and dance for the ladies.                                                                                                                                                                                    I went to my beading class also at the weekend will post photo when finished

hi all, i have had lots of request from people wanting to know how scruffy is getting on, as you can see i have updated his story. Now i have decided to continue with scruffy diary. so he will share my blog from now on.Today i went to a workshop at my favorite craft shop IMAGINE THAT run by EMMA, the workshop was called CHRISTMAS UNLEASHED and was taken by JO FIRTH, we made 5 cards but only posting 4 as i haven t finished the 5 th one yet.thought you would like to see my home grown tomatoes no rude comments please! ha ha

while my owner was At the workshop her daughter came AND took me round to play with HENRY, her dog, a golden retriever so i would nt be lonely. WOW!, he is twice my size and talk about weighty well, when he runs pass me the earth shakes, but i had a good time and managed to bite his ears a few times, lol. Henry is 3 years old in Oct and hopefully if he has a party i will be invited. now i m back home and as you can see i ve just had my dinner and i am taking the empty dish back for seconds
