BARGAINS! FIRST ONE  AT HOBBYCRAFT STORE, RUBBER STAMPS, THE TWO SQUARE ONES WERE 49p EACH AND THE TWO BIGGER ONES WERE 99 p  A SAVING OF SOMETHING STUPID LIKE £22 ,DON T CARE IF THEY ARE NOT THAT TRENDY WILL COME IN HANDY, I MADE TWO QUICK CARDS FOR TWO OF MY FRIENDS WITH ONE OF THE STAMPS

NEXT BARGAIN I FOUND IN LOCAL CHARITY SHOP , IT IS A CUTE LITTLE 1940/50 FOOTSTOOL, THE WOOD IS QUITE GOOD ,THINK THAT HAS HAD A RE VANISH OVER THE YEARS,  THE TOP WAS YUCKY! BUT FOR THE GRAND PRICE OF £4 AM I COMPLAINING! I HAVE TAKEN THE FIRST LAYER OF MATERIAL OF THE TOP,  WAS HOPING TO FIND THE ORIGINAL COVER IN A REPAIRABLE STATE, BUT, ALAS NO, SO WILL BUY NEW FOAM AND MATERIAL AND RECOVER, WILL POST FINISHED PROJECT

THE BEST BUY ONE GET ONE FREE, ALWAYS WANTED A BLACK BUDDHA FOR MY BACK GARDEN AND FOUND SOMEONE WHO MAKES THEM FAIRLY CHEAP, HE MADE THE BLACK ONE  FOR ME, BUT, ALSO GAVE ME THE GOLD ONE FOR FREE AS IT HAD A CHIP IN IT, AND  SAID HE COULD'NT SELL IN THAT CONDITION, I MUST ADD THE CHIP IS AT THE BACK CAN T BE SEEN .HOW LOVELY IS THAT SUCH NICE PEOPLE OUT THERE

hello we are half way through January already where does the time go to?thought i would post some photos of some of the beading projects i did last year,  look forward to doing some more this year. quite a few of the bracelets and necklaces i have given to friends as presents and this is what i have kept for myself

Been knitting

I have been doing  some knitting, which is quite alien to me but i have finished  this 1940s style turban hat which i am quite pleased with ,My friend Daphne came to lunch today,   she came back from a holiday in  India two weeks before Christmas , she was rushed to A&E boxing day with all the symptoms of malaria but after having blood tests showed that she had swine flu she has been so ill with it . She loved the hat and could nt resist modeling, sorry Daphne it looks better on the basin !
