My Wish for You in 2011

May peace break into your home and may thieves come to steal your debts.
May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet for money
May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips!
May happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy
May the problems you had forget your home address!
In simple words .............
May 2011 be the best year of your life!!!

A Happy New Year!!

Hi all. Where does all the time go  never enough minutes in the day, i have been making a clock a altered art kind with texture paste Ferro and terro by Viva, also metal paints  by Viva, have got so far as the photo will show you, still have to give more texture to it and numbers and embellistments but then time ran out, so hopefully will get back to it this week .A elderly neighbour of mine was telling me in the Second world War she was an evacuated as a child of 6 years old to Norfolk with her 3 year old sister, what memory's she has of that time, then she informed me she and her sister who now lives in the states wrote a book that was publish and sold many copies in UK and the states.  noting my interest she gave me a sign copy which is brilliant, worth a read .My sister in law was a Dagenham Girl Piper in the 50 s and travel playing with the band for many years, on Saturday i went along with her to  celebrate the 80th birthday  of the band, so nice seeing all the old members the eldest was 89 although many have passed away as the band started in the early 40 s. the modern day pipers, although, not as many as the original mingle  played and dance for the ladies.                                                                                                                                                                                    I went to my beading class also at the weekend will post photo when finished

the story of Scruffy the rescue pup

hi there all and a big hello to Peggy Chatto, Scruffy was 1 year old at the weekend the grandchildren came round to celerbrate his birthday they brought him lots of presents, you know the kind that squeak and you end up hiding them away lol, He is a rescue pup who is very loving and mischievous .His breed is a cockerpoo, or in the USA they call them spoodles, in other words he is a cocker spaniel bred with a poodle, i have had him since he was 4 mths old ,i called him scruffy because that's what he is, his fur is long and curly and no matter how much you brush him he still looks scruffy,he has been to the doggy parlour once this year, was trimmed and at last we could see his face, but it is now rapidly growing again. He has settle here with me and i would not part with him he is wonderful .
